So because I spend so much time at the computer, (usually when feeding Evan)  I decided to start a blog.  More for myself because there are so many times that I would love to journal for the kids or take notes of the funny things they say and do.  My hope is that by blogging I will be able to jot down our crazy, hectic, everyday life.

We are a family of 7, there is never a dull moment in our house, its loud its crazy and most of the time wonderful.  I never imagined having this many kids and to top it off they are are healthy.  That thought alone amazes me most days, how in the world did we get so lucky to have 5 happy and healthy kids.  I cant imagine my life without them.  I would rather have the worst day imaginable with my 5 kids than to never have them at all.

To be continued... because Evan is currently crying on the floor, really thought I had more than 2 minutes to type!

So some of you know that about 2 months ago the stop valve on our washing machine upstairs broke and flooded the upstairs which then made a pretty rain shower in our downstairs.  Translation- hallway carpet, ceiling sheetrock and insulation needed to be replaced.  So for the past few months I have looked at first a hole in our ceiling and then just plain sheetrock.  This has driven me nuts!  Well the day has come to finally repair the damage!  So right now our downstairs is completely torn apart with drop cloths everywhere...fingers crossed that by the end of the day my house will look somewhat normal :)  Ryan will have his work cut out for him today.
